Malmsteen inspired) BODY: Core Wood: ‘Reserved’ Alder 1 piece 5A Private Stock Wood Library :-)))) Gorgeous Veneer bookmatched flamed maple ( for cosmetic appearance only); Vintage Stratocaster shape (more deeper and pronounced forearm and belly contours); Vintage Strat body routing: S-S-S pickups configuration+controls cavity, vintage 6 screws tremolo type, front jack plate, 11 screws pickguard (standard Fender ); Hand signed by Mr. Valera inside No back tremolo cover, so no holes for the screws; Drilled holes for strap pins, pickguard and jack plate; Painting: Solid colour on the back, Malmsteen;s ‘vintage yellowish white’ - see photo; Kind of yellow sunburst on front, with the flamed maple exposed - ‘see through’ - photos (Ritchie Kotzen Signature Stratocaster as a reference). Back and front tone of yellow must be the same, of course, try to stay close to the Malmsteen’s colour. Contoured neck joint, no neck plate, screws and bushings only (gold hardware), photos provided, but without the low horn contour (highlighted in blue by me) NECK: Shaft wood: East American Hard Maple , Dark Brazilian Rosewood fretboard; PREMIUM TOP QUALITY TONE WOODS ONLY 10A+++++ tone!!!!!!! Y.J.Malmsteen big headstock (70’s style), 10mm modern tuners holes, 42 mm brass nut, 22 jumbo SS frets (like Jescar 57110), dual action truss rod at headstock, thin 21-23 mm ‘C’ back shape; Back finish: Tru Oil turned to amber colour or ‘aged’ colour, please see photo; 9.5’’ to 12’’ compound radius, scalloped fingerboard, but please pay attention to this detail, because is very important for me, I want a fine scalloping, NOT deep, let’s say 1-1.2mm dee- per in the highest point between two frets; rolled edges; Front dots: real clay or similar, in cream colour; Side dots: black dots, mounted in the maple shaft, not in rosewood - photo provided, high- lighted in red by me; Maestro Vaschenko decal on front of the headstock, thin nitro laquered; Malmsteen Signature decal on the back of the headstock (similar position with the Custom Shop logo at most CS Fenders) photo provided - also laquered for protection. You will choose the orientation of the decal, in order to look good with proper proportions. I have al- ready ordered this decal, it will be sent with the bridge and the rest of the hardware.
